WEB GEMS- Bot 6th: Bobby Crosby robbed Jose Reyes of a base hit.

Moises Alou cracked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Sin City Bounty Hunters

beat the Corpus Christi 'Cudas by a score of 7 to 6.

Alou was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day at

their team's expense.  He laced a single in the 1st inning, lofted a

solo-blast 'downtown' in the 3rd inning, cleared the fences for a two-run

home run (his 3rd of the season) in the 4th inning and lined a one-base hit

in the 9th inning.  Corpus Christi threatened in the 9th but their rally came

up short.

The win was credited to Joe Blanton(1-0) who went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 5

runs. Blanton got relief help from Joe Nathan who gained credit for his 1st

save.  Gustavo Chacin(0-1) took the loss.  He allowed a few too many

baserunners giving up 8 hits and 3 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.
